In-house exhibition in the fortress Monostor in Komárom, Hungary

IREKS Hausmesse Ungarn

Professional refrigeration, warm baking!

Viessmann presented itself with an own stand at the IREKS-STAMAG Kft. trade fair in Komárom in western Hungary from August 29 to August 31, 2018.

IREKS GmbH, founded in Kulmbach in 1856 and only 30 kilometres from the Viessmann Kühlsysteme GmbH location in Hof, is internationally active in the production and sale of baking ingredients, flavours, brewing salts and ice cream ingredients. With around 2,800 employees, the family business attends to its customers, mainly bakeries and confectioneries, in around 90 countries.

At the end of the 1980s, in addition to its own branch office, a specialist and training centre for bakers and confectioners was established in Hungary, which has since then been further expanded.

This year's in-house exhibition of IREKS-STAMAG Kft. took place in Fort Monostor, an impressive fortress built between 1850 and 1871 and situated directly on the Danube river with a view of the Slovakian town of Komárom. During the trade fair, numerous factory tours and specialist lectures took place at the company headquarters in Komárom.

In the vaults of the fortress, which have been converted into a museum, an impressive process chain from cooling to baking and selling was presented to the ~500 trade visitors. Visitors included mostly bakers and confectioners from Hungary and nearby Slovakia, but also representatives of planning companies and franchise companies.

The focus moves more and more towards proper and hygienic refrigeration, and at the same time we have been able to further raise our customers' quality awareness.

Miklós Jankó, Managing Director of IREKS-STAMAG Kft.

A TectoCell Standard Plus cold room was integrated into the running production process. The cold room, equipped with a TectoRefrigo WMC2 2000 refrigeration unit, was used during the trade fair to store dough pieces as well as numerous ingredients that were processed on site and offered for tasting. In order to meet the specific requirements of the bakery and confectionery trade, the cold room had a ramp and reinforced stainless steel floor of anti-slip category R10. Thus the cold room, which was designed for nine trolleys, could be accessed by vehicles comfortably and safely. The SmartProtec powder coating, the overlapping elements and the radii in the corners of the cold room meet the highest hygienic requirements, as was appreciated by numerous trade visitors.

The energy efficiency of our modular cold room system was also a topic that was enthusiastically discussed among the guests, especially as operating costs are also rising in Hungary.

‘The focus moves more and more towards proper and hygienic refrigeration, and at the same time we have been able to further raise our customers' quality awareness,’ reported Miklós Jankó, Managing Director of IREKS-STAMAG Kft. to Rainer Gahn, Export Manager of Viessmann Kühlsysteme Hof, during the Komárom trade fair.

This guiding principle also applies to the presentation of bakery and confectionery products: Cakes and sandwiches were offered for tasting in three modules of the TectoPromo FL2 Aida refrigeration cabinet series. In addition to the solid processing, the modern design and plug-in technology attracted a lot of visitors.

Thank you for your visit!
